Beginners Academy (“we”, “us”) runs this website and its online courses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture.
- Learning activity: the courses you are enrolled in and the lessons you complete.
- Enrollment details: your name, email, WhatsApp number and chosen course when you fill in the enroll form. We use your WhatsApp number to confirm your enrollment and share class details.
- Messages: what you write to us through the contact form.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up for tutorial and course news. We only send it after you confirm by clicking the link we email you, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Anonymous visit counts: how many times each public page was viewed per day, and which website a visitor came from (for example google.com). We do not use cookies for this and do not store your IP address, device details or anything that identifies you. We do not count visits when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
- Payment details: when online payments are enabled, payments are handled by our payment provider (Razorpay). We receive confirmation and an order reference, not your card or UPI details.
How we use it
- To create your account and give you access to the courses you enroll in.
- To track your progress and show you where to continue.
- To reply to your messages and send important account or course updates.
- To keep the platform secure and prevent misuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers to run the platform: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Google (optional sign-in, and Google Sheets where we keep a list of enrollments), Meta (WhatsApp messages), YouTube (video playback) and Razorpay (payments, when enabled). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your light or dark theme choice. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us through the contact form. If you delete your account, your course access and progress are removed.
Retention and security
We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. We protect data with access controls and encrypted connections, but no system is completely secure.

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
